The Alchemists House is another one of those short horror need to escape games. The nice thing about this one is that it’s free. The not nice thing is the Alchemists freaky face, and freaky smile. The Alchemists House can be found for free on Steam.

My first two times through the game I got killed in short order. The first time pretty quickly, meaning in the first 5 minutes, and the second time in about 15 minutes. There was a good thing about the deaths as they are cues for what not to do. There’s a few jump scared via loud noises, and some really interesting and scary/semi gory graphics. The game is relatively linear, other than needing to figure out what I can barely call puzzle/s.

For what it is, it’s great. It’s a free horror game on Steam that you can play through a few times and complete in about an hour, providing you don’t get bored or stuck. You’re in The Alchemists House, and you’ll have some conversation with him, have some turkey dinner, and then get on with the exploring and trying to find your way out.

Note, the big baby is not nice. Enjoy.
